The Brenners Park-Restaurant is the most highly awarded restaurant in Baden-Baden, with one Michelin star[1] and 17 out of 20 Gault Millau points[2]. Since August 2012 Paul Stradner is the chef. He achieved to preserve one Michelin star. The Brenners Park-Restaurant is one of two restaurants in the venerable grand hotel Brenners Park-Hotel and Spa.
In the Brenners Park-Restaurant Andreas Krolik received his first Michelin star in 2005 and a second one in 2011. When he left the restaurant towards Frankfurt due to family reasons, the young Paul Stradner took the position of the chef in August 2012. The native Austrian admits to have learned from the best. Among others, he worked for the three-star-chefs Harald Wohlfahrt and Jean Georges Klein. His modern interpretation of classic cuisine has been awarded one Michelin star. The Gault Millau praised his contemporary light aromatic cuisine and awarded 17 out of 20 points. Sommelier Karl-Heinz Schopfe helps with the selection of the right wine.
The park restaurant is classic elegantly furnished. The windows offer a view into the landscape park Lichtentaler Allee. Gentlemen are kindly asked to wear a jacket.
