The Fabergé Museum is dedicated to the art of Carl Fabergé. According to the museum it is therefore the first and only museum that focuses on the life's work of the Tsar jeweler. Over 700 exhibits are shown, covering the entire spectrum of Fabergé art. The famous Imperial Easter eggs, animal miniatures and fine cigarette cases are among the exhibits which are owned by the Russian art collector Alexander Ivanov. Probably the most valuable exhibit is the Rothschild Fabergé Egg. On 28 November 2007 the collecter bought it at an auction for £ 9 million, which is equivalent to about € 12.5 million.
