The Klosterplatz (Monastery Square) is a square in Lichtental in front of the Monastery Lichtenthal. It marks the south-eastern end of the Lichtentaler Allee. The square is bounded by the Hauptstraße, the Oos and the monastery walls. In its center there is an obelisk located, which is a memorial for the fallen of the Franco-German War. At the southwest corner another memorial reminds of the deceased soldiers of World War I. On Tuesdays and Fridays a farmer's market takes place at the Klosterplatz.
