Klosterwiese
From Stadtwiki Baden-Baden
The Klosterwiese (monastery meadow) is a large meadow in the southeastern part of the Lichtentaler Allee. Originally the Klosterwiese belonged to the Monastery Lichtenthal and was used for agricultural purposes. From 1975 to 1976 it was transformed into a landscape park. There is a system of bridle paths at the Klosterwiese. A part of it is also a dogs area, where dogs are allowed to run around without a leash.[1] Occasionally the Klosterwiese is used for festivals and outdoor concerts.
