The Kurgarten (spa garden, formerly known as Promenade) is the park in front of the Kurhaus. It is limited by the Trinkhalle in the north, the Kaiserallee in the east, the Kurhauskolonnaden and Werderstraße in the south and the neoclassicistic Kurhaus in the west. Many events take place in the Kurgarten, e.g. the New Pop Festival, the Oldtimer Meeting and the Christmas Market.
