Röttele's Restaurant and Residence in the Castle Neuweier is one of three restaurants in Baden-Baden, which has been awarded a Michelin star. In addition, the Gault Millau Guide awarded 16 out of 20 points. Since 2005 the chef Armin Röttele is cooking here at a high level. His wife Sabine Röttele is responsible for managing the service.

The Castle Neuweier was completely renovated by the former owners Helmut and Gisela Joos. After the renovation of the restaurant was completed in September 2004, the couple Röttele took over the restaurant in 2005.[1] The Michelin Guide 2006 awarded the restaurant with one star, which it still has today. The Gault Millau 2013 awarded 16 out of 20 points for the Mediterranean cuisine with exotic influences. For desserts the critics even would have awarded 17 points.[2] The wine list contains all wines of the Castle Neuweier winery and other selected ones. The restaurant offers a reasonably priced castle lunch menu for around 30 euros.

Within the thick walls of the castle there are several rooms used by the restaurant. The knights' hall can accommodate up to 36 persons. Next to it is the tower room, which offers space for up to 10 persons. The Schaffner room is ideal for private parties from 10 to 14 persons. In the wintergarden up to 30 persons can sit and enjoy looking at the vineyards of Castle Neuweier. In the summer it is possible to sit at the outside terrace. Other rooms can be booked for banquets and meetings.
