The Ritterplatte (knights plate) is a viewpoint above the Battert rocks. It is located at an altitude of 488 m above sea level and offers beautiful views of Baden-Baden, the Rhine valley and the Old Castle situated below. Old paintings and postcards prove that this view was for a long time a popular motif of painters and photographers. On the Ritterplatte there is a wooden shelter.
